IMG_20150226_173358Drum roll please. A Night for Green Beauty returns for its third—and last [sobs]—extravaganza of beauty, glamour and shopping. This time it’s coming to Chicago, IL on Thursday, August 6, 2015.

If you’re unclear about ANFGB (no walk of shame, don’t worry), let’s just say it’s like the Red Carpet of clean beauty, where many of the leading brands and founders in the green beauty world get to interface with us—the people who love them.

Beyond that, it also gathers people together who are aligned with a larger purpose: cleaning up the toxic billion dollar beauty industry—from sustainability and environmental impact to carefully sourced ingredients—and increasing our accessibility to effective, natural products. It also accomplishes a philanthropic goal of donating a percentage of proceeds to select causes.

A little background info (I promise to be brief):

ANFGB is the brainchild of green beauty pioneers, La Bella Figura founders, Victoria Fantauzzi and Karen King. The goal has always been about collaboration and celebration. After all, natural beauty products have come a long way with many companies easily rivaling luxury labels in department stores. Victoria and Karen realized that it was high time to showcase them and pool together as a collective group with a singular mission.

Their efforts prove that green beauty is no longer an industry reserved for the fringe crowd. It has definitely gone mainstream and is hitting its stride now more than ever before.

After over 400 attendees surged into the small space that held the first ANFGB in New York City two years ago, it was clear that the demand for access to niche brands required a larger venue. The second event took place in LA last August at the W Hotel and was another sweeping success. This year promises to be better than ever with more brands and entirely new surprises (details soon).

Exciting announcement #1

So, are you ready for my big announcement? This year, over 30 outstanding—and I really do mean outstanding—brands will be represented. There is seriously not a dull one among this selection! I’ve listed all of them below.

But that’s not all…Victoria and Karen chose four Event Ambassadors to meet, greet, and tweet you all the way to ANFGB. This year, they are the absolutely lovely Lola of The Hermes Hippie, Mayah and Sabrina of Call it Vanity, and lastly…ME!!

Um…I know. Did you fall off your chair? I think I may have. Hold on…OK. All adjusted now. It’s pretty shocking, about me, that is, but there you have it. I couldn’t be happier or feel more humbled and honored to be chosen and I’m only too thrilled to be standing side by side with these wonderful women. I’ve even asked my family to start calling me Mother Ambassador. That did not go over as well as I would have hoped. Sigh.

As excited as I’ve been to reveal this big announcement to you, I’m equally excited to introduce you to the sponsors and brands.

This year’s sponsors include:

Plus charity sponsors: No Barriers Youth and Learning AFAR.
