Trendspotting: Top 5 runway inspired looks for Fall using luscious natural beauty productsThese are my top five favorite beauty trends for Fall/Winter 2016  with inspiration taken from the fashion runways of Oscar de la Renta, Moschino, Stella McCartney, Carven, Marni, and Max Mara.  I chose the most wearable looks based on these trends and have applied the best in green beauty to compliment each trend.  I hope you enjoy my picks!

High impact, dimensional eyeliner

OSCAR DE LA RENTA

This look was seen in some very dramatic ways with graphic lines and bold strokes on the fashion runways.  I love this classic, almost wing-like blocked shape along the upper eyelid and outer corner of the eye.

Natural beauty product to achieve this look: Our best selling eyeliner is Antonym’s Noir Waterproof eye pencil.  It’s a true, rich black that glides on smoothly without tugging skin, stays all day and is also easy to remove.

#2

Smoky, sultry eye

MOSCHINO

Who doesn’t love a classic sultry, smoky eye?! This is great for a nighttime look, paired with a nude lip.

Natural beauty product to achieve this look: Kjaer Weis eye shadows all the way! Cloud Nine is a perfect base neutral color.  Then apply Wisdom, which is a complex taupe hue with mix of grey, brown, and purple; it will enhance any eye color. Then go in with Divine, which is a neutral classic grey for a soft understated smoky eye.  For a more dramatic look, line eyes with Onyx, which is a slate black with subtle silver shimmer.

#3

Highlight on inner corners of eyes

STELLA MCCARTNEY

Brighten and make eyes really pop with this trend.

Natural beauty product to achieve this look: Kjaer Weis Radiance Highlighter—this highlighter is a warm pearl with slight silver shimmer.  It is not only perfect to open up and give eyes a little pop, but you can also use it on the high points of cheekbones, brow line, and bridge of nose for the perfect sun-kissed glow all over.

#4

Doll eyes

CARVEN

Add dimension around the eyes by applying mascara to upper and lower lashes.

Natural beauty product to achieve this look: W3LL People’s Bio Extreme Expressionist Mascara – the rubber wand on this mascara is perfect to achieve this defined look all around the eyes.  The unique shape of the brush precisely separates and lengthens the tiniest lashes.

#5

Deep wine lips with or without high gloss

Left: MARNI (dark lips/matte)                                                Right: MAX MARA (dark lips/glossy)

This trend of deep red and wine lips was seen on the runways matte and also with high sheen.  I love the matte classic look but also love the high gloss for some extra glam!

Natural beauty product to achieve this look: Define lips with Gressa’s Precision Lip Brush using Nudus Lipstick in Dirty Diana.  Then apply Nudus Revenge and Vapour Elixir Plumping Lip Gloss in Bitten for high impact.   We recently did a “Perfect Red Lip” tutorial on the Integrity Botanicals YouTube channel, which captures this trend so well (without the added gloss.)
